Chemical and controlled stock, signed in and out

Some things in a van are not ordinary stock. They are regulated, they have a usage rate, they must be accounted for, and an inspector may ask.

AlphaFlux tracks them the way they are actually used. A container is signed in when it is received, assigned to a technician or a location, and signed out when it is used or returned. The record shows who had it, when they took it, where it went and what remains.

That record is what turns a difficult conversation into a report. Usage per technician, usage per service, what was applied at a customer's property, and what is currently unaccounted for are all available as views rather than as an afternoon with a clipboard.

    Every truck holds its own position, so the question where is that part is answered by naming the part rather than by ringing three technicians. A technician's stock moves when the job consumes it, not when someone remembers to update a sheet.

    A rented storage locker is a location like any other. It can hold stock, it can be transferred to and from, and it can be counted without an afternoon of driving to it and writing things down.
  • Mobile and self contained units

    Questions people ask before signing up

    Is inventory really free?

    Yes, on every plan including the free one. Items, movements, sign in and sign out, scanning and low stock alerts are all included. What a plan changes is how many locations you can define and how long you keep movement history.

    How do I track chemicals across several technicians?

    Each container is signed in when it is received and assigned to a technician or a location. When it is used, the amount consumed is recorded against the job, which leaves a per technician usage record and a per property application record. A reconciliation view shows anything that moved without a matching reason.

    Can I track stock that lives on a vehicle that moves between sites?

    Yes. A mobile unit is treated as both an asset and a location, so it has a position, a custodian and its own contents, and all three move together. That covers mobile workshops, trailers, containers and remote units.

    I run more than one company. Can I see all their stock together?

    Yes. Stock is scoped to a company, and an operator with access to several can see a consolidated position across all of them while each company's records stay separate.

    Does it handle stock in a truck being consumed by a job?

    Yes. When a job is closed, the parts and consumables used are drawn from the technician's stock and carried onto the invoice. The technician does not enter the same information twice.
